Today is the 01st October and that means it is officially Halloween season! It was only a few weeks ago that we were threatened with an Indian summer and all of a sudden there’s a certain crispness to the air. The seasons have changed and a cosy autumnal feeling is now all around. It won’t be long until that long awaited ‘All Hallows Eve‘ on the 31st October!

Halloween has to be one of my favourite holidays – It’s just so much fun and there is so much to see and do on the lead up to the actual day. I can’t wait to visit some local Halloween attractions and hopefully this year get some great pumpkin patch photos. I have completely stocked up on Halloween themed goodies which is something I have always been rubbish at doing. So this year, we are well and truly ready to go!

With that in mind, it’s a great chance to introduce you to #Blogoween!! Throughout the month I will be bringing you a variety of different post with a Halloween theme! Hopefully, I can inspire you with some spooky ideas, especially when it comes to involving out little monsters.

Here’s a heads up of some items you might find useful over the next couple of weeks if you fancy getting involved. If you have a poundland near you, then you need to go and give them a viit aswell as general supplies they have an awesome Halloween selection going on this year!

  1. Blogoween – sounds like a lot of fun 🙂 , i am yet to go and stock up on my Halloween supplies as thanks to my rather naughty dog most of my last year stock got mistaken by a “chew toy” 😉

    • Oh no!!! In previous years I have been lazy but I was determined this year to get into the spirit fully, plus my little boy is now 4 so he is really excited about it as we always have a party at his Aunties so he is super excited and on the countdown!

  2. My kids love Halloween. It really wasn’t a big deal back when I was a kid but we embrace it and dress the front of the house up and go out down the road and see if anyone else has pumpkins out!

  3. I’m not a big Halloweener if I’m honest. I never really took part as a kid but my kids seem well up for it.

We do visit our local heritage railway for their Halloween train though. Which is always a good laugh. 🙂

  4. Ive not given halloween much thought this year yet but I think I may look to buy the boys costumes tomorrow and that will provably get me in the mood. Thanks for the tip about Poundland I will have to make an effort to get to our local one this week.
