Are you looking for some spooky DIY Kids Halloween Basket ideas this year? Look no further, I have been putting together a little DIY Halloween basket for Finlay! I first came across these baskets many years ago from Oh So Amelia. I was so impressed but at the time, BUT Finlay was still very little and I didn’t think he would get much out of them back then. Fast forward a few years and now Finlay is older, I thought it would be an ideal time to throw one together! With a couple of baby bits thrown in. Plus if you have been visiting my blog over the last few weeks you may have seen I have gone Halloween stir crazy, as I love it, so it was perfect to post up for my Blogoween series!
DIY Kids Halloween Basket Ideas
As suggested by Kerry from Oh so Amelia, I went searching on EBAY for my basket and I managed to get hold of one for about £4.… Read More
When I saw that Yankee Candles had released a Halloween range of Candles I began to smile. That smile turned to laughter and before knew I was cackling like a witch high on eye of newt! Why? Well, I am a huge fan of Yankee candles! They are my all time favourite scents and I just couldn’t hold in my excitement. Yankee, wonderful sniffy scented candles and Halloween! Two of my favourite things together. Imagine my delight when I found out I was being sent some of the range to review. I hopped on my broomstick and did a few loops for joy!
So for those of you not in the know. Why are Yankee Candles so great? The simple answer is they last for a very long time and they smell divine, before, during and long after burning. I find many scented candles, just don’t do what they say on the tin.… Read More

Halloween would not be complete without a pumpkin. Often though, as we carve them into Jack-o laterns, the innards are just strewn into the bin to rot. What a waste! I have been guilty of this too. It wasn’t until last year and I decided to grab a cookbook and make Pumpkin Pie, that I realised how delicious it really was! So this year I really wanted to post a Halloween Pumpkin Pie recipe so you too can use every last bit of your pumpkin!
Now, unfortunatley with a new baby I just haven’t had the time (or energy) to experiment in the kitchen. However, one of my fellow bloggers has! Donna from Bobsy’s Mum has very kindly offered to Guest Post for me. Donna, a busy mum herself, shares her own recipes on her blog which she describes as mostly super kid friendly and offers advice on how to save time and money and most importantly enjoy cooking when you are busy!… Read More
A few days ago I suggested 11 Horror Comedies for those who have a more faint disposition. Today the focus is on Children and the Not so Scary Halloween Films for Kids. Finlay loves to take part anything that’s going on and Halloween is no exception. To be honest, I think Horror is in his blood, Chris loves it and always did as a child. Finlay seems to be the same, nothing really scares him. However, don’t think I let him watch any old horror, there are boundaries as much as he pleads. So today I bring you 11 Not so Scary Halloween Films for Kids!

Halloween is the perfect time to sit back and scare yourself half to death with a good old Horror Movie. However, not everybody likes to be scared. Not everyone enjoys a Horror Movie. Then what do you do? Miss out? Because Horror is pretty much everywhere for the next few weeks. Lucky for you, there is the Horror Com Genre of film. Basically, it’s what it says on the packet, Comedy Horrors! These films take all the best bit’s of Horrors but instead of trying to scare the poop out of you, they swap the screams for laughs. I thought this fitted in nicely with Blogtober17 Day 10 – Jokes. It’s also not a completely obscure post as it sits nicely within my Blogoween Halloween Series too!
So today I bring you 11 of the best Horror Com movies for the more fainthearted Halloween fan:
