Regarded as one of the best attractions in Sussex, Drusillas Park is a small zoo in Alfriston, East Sussex. As well as the zoo, the park boasts a huge adventure playground complete with splash pad (for those warmer months!), farm animals, Petworld, an interactive maze, indoor soft play, rides and much more. I was a huge fan of Organix when Finlay was a baby, and I was incredibly excited to learn that Organix had introduced the PUNK’D bars to their range which are aimed at children aged between 5 – 11 years old. Now that Finlay has started school, no longer is he hungry in the afternoon, he is starving! So I have been searching for a healthy snack to fill him up when I pick him up from school. I was delighted when Organix offered me the chance to review their PUNK’D bars, I jumped at the chance!
PUNK’D bars come in two delicious flavours, Cocoa & Orange Crush and Strawberry & Vanilla Smash. Each box contains 6 individually wrapped 23g bars. Perfect for snacking on the go, or even better, for an after school snack! Christmas is my absolute favourite time of the year, I am so excited it’s almost here! I always try my hardest to make Christmas as magical as possible for Finlay, I mean they don’t stay little for very long at all nowadays. So it’s really important for me to keep the magic alive for as long as I possibly can.
One of the traditions we will be keeping up with this year and one I truly love is ‘Letters from Santa’. It’s a great way to bring the magic of Christmas into your home, literally by dropping onto your doormat all the way from the North Pole! Magic Santa Letter create beautiful, high quality, personalised, Santa letters that are delivered to your door. When I saw that Yankee Candles had released a Halloween range of Candles I began to smile. That smile turned to laughter and before knew I was cackling like a witch high on eye of newt! Why? Well, I am a huge fan of Yankee candles! They are my all time favourite scents and I just couldn’t hold in my excitement. Yankee, wonderful sniffy scented candles and Halloween! Two of my favourite things together. Imagine my delight when I found out I was being sent some of the range to review. I hopped on my broomstick and did a few loops for joy!
So for those of you not in the know. Why are Yankee Candles so great? The simple answer is they last for a very long time and they smell divine, before, during and long after burning. I find many scented candles, just don’t do what they say on the tin.… Read More

If you have a pre schooler and you haven’t heard of PJ Mask, where have you been? PJ Mask has been a firm favourite in our house for a long time now. Finlay loves following Catboy, Owlette and Gekko on their adventures. I thought I was in the know with this trio, but apparently not when Finlay corrected me for pronouncing Gekko wrong the other day, my bad! Anyway, Finlay was thrilled when we were given the opportunity to review the new PJ Mask Magazine which hit the shops this month!
I have to admit, I’m not usually a fan of children’s magazines. Usually I give them a wide berth when we go to shops. I just find that most of these magazines are so expensive, filled with tat, get read for 2 minutes and then end up in a crumpled heap. There’s usually better things I’d rather spend my non existent pennies on!… Read More

Breastfeeding, something I wasn’t able to do with Finlay, but desperate to do with Emmie. I never quite believed it would happen. Almost 5 Months later, I am still exclusively breastfeeding!! I won’t lie, it hasn’t been easy. There were times I thought I couldn’t do it, but I persevered to a point where I was happy and confident in feeding my baby. Then Emmie began to grow and move, ECK!! I needed some Breastfeeding Boobie Beads!
As if my pleas for help were heard, I was offered the chance to review some Boobie Beads (fantastic feeding and teething jewellery). Created by a mum for mums, Breastfeeding Boobie Beads provide a welcome distraction for babies whilst feeding and double up as a teether. Made from soft silicone, BPA and toxin free, they make the perfect choice for little ones to play and chew on. I was sent a gorgeous orange and pink necklace to try out.… Read More
Fairy Gardens, magical little oasis right in our backyards. Did you know that fairy Gardens can be dated right back to 1893? Created to lure fairies in to your garden and bring with them good luck for your home! How magical! Who believes in fairies? Put your hand up, I do! I do! I’m a big believer in magic! As well as the chance of luring little fairies into your garden creating a fairy garden is also a great way to ignite your child’s imagination, 2 birds 1 stone!!
I was so excited when Gardens2you provided Finlay with his very own Fairy garden kit to review. Together we want to help break the mould, fairies don’t just have to be for girls and their gardens definitely don’t have to be pink and fluffy! Finlay has thoroughly enjoyed setting up his fairy garden. It is by no means finished, but that’s what I love.… Read More

If your a new parent, then this will not be the first and last time you hear of them. Lamaze is a fantastic toy brand that produces energetic and fun learning toys for children 0 – 24 months. I remember Finlay loving his Lamaze toys when he was a baby and so I didnt hesitate in finding Emmie some of her own, she especially loves her Emily Doll. So I was really please when Lamaze got in contact recently to ask if we wanted to review a couple of toys that are new for 2017, I didn’t hesitate in saying yes!
