A few days ago I suggested 11 Horror Comedies for those who have a more faint disposition. Today the focus is on Children and the Not so Scary Halloween Films for Kids. Finlay loves to take part anything that’s going on and Halloween is no exception. To be honest, I think Horror is in his blood, Chris loves it and always did as a child. Finlay seems to be the same, nothing really scares him. However, don’t think I let him watch any old horror, there are boundaries as much as he pleads. Coraline (2009)

A young girl, finds a secret door while exploring her new home. She finds in there an alternate world that closely mirrors her own. In this idealised reality things are great until the paralle family try to keep her there forever.

Casper (1995)

Casper is a kind young ghost who haunts an abandoned mansion in Maine. When a man who is hied to exercise the house, brings along his daughter. Casper falls in love. There relationship is hampered not only by Caspers ghost stae but also by his troublesome apiration uncles.

Monster House (2006)

Three friends discover the neighbours house is a real living, breathing monster. No one believes them and they must find a way to destroy it before Halloween brings Trick or Treaters!

Hotel Transylvania (2012)

Hotel Transylvania, Draculas lavish 5 start resort where Monsters live it up and No humans are allowed. On his Daughter 118th Birthday, Dracula throws her a spectactualr party but things get complicated when an unwitting human wanders in!

Frankenweenie (2012)

Young Victor, a science nerd and outsider at school, conducts a science experiment to bring his beloved pet Sparky back to life.

Scooby Doo (2002)

After an acrimonious break up, the Mystery Inc. gang are individually summoned to Spooky Island to investigate a series of paranormal incidents at the ultra-hip Spring Break hot spot.

Zach unwittingly unleashes monsters from the books, its then down to the zach, stine and his daughter to return the monsters back to where they belong.

Monsters INC (2001)

To power the city, monsters must scare children and collect the energy. However children are toxic! When a child accidently goes through a door into the monster world, two monsters realize things might not be as they seem.

ParaNorman (2012)

Norman has the ability to speak with the dead. When he hears from a strange uncle that a centries old curse is about to come true upon their town and only Norman can stop it.

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005)

After starting a pest control business, the duo soon lands a job from the alluring Lady Tottington to stop a giant rabbit from destroying the town’s crops.

Corpse Bride (2005)

Just as he’s about to be married, Victor is sucked into the underworld by a Corpse Bride who desires him for herself.

  1. Gret sellection of movie ideas to worth with whole family – i need to stock up on some of those , i wasnt aware as to how many family friendly titles there are abailable xx
