I was a huge fan of Organix when Finlay was a baby, and I was incredibly excited to learn that Organix had introduced the PUNK’D bars to their range which are aimed at children aged between 5 – 11 years old. Now that Finlay has started school, no longer is he hungry in the afternoon, he is starving! So I have been searching for a healthy snack to fill him up when I pick him up from school. I was delighted when Organix offered me the chance to review their PUNK’D bars, I jumped at the chance!
PUNK’D bars come in two delicious flavours, Cocoa & Orange Crush and Strawberry & Vanilla Smash. Each box contains 6 individually wrapped 23g bars. Perfect for snacking on the go, or even better, for an after school snack! PUNK’D bars come with the Organix ‘No Junk’ promise, of good healthy, organic foods, no artificial sweeteners, added salt, colourings or preservatives. It’s great to know and reassuring that I am giving him a ‘good’ food in the mind field of what we should and shouldn’t be giving our children to snack on.
The Cocoa and Orange Crush bar, contains a blend of organic wholegrain oats, sultanas, apple juice, cocoa and orange oil. These are delicious, of course, I had to sample them too! These are super tasty and remind of a chocolate orange, only healthier! Thumbs up for this one!
The Strawberry and Vanilla Smash bar contains a blend of organic wholegrain oats with sultanas, apple and strawberry juice, and vanilla extract. I couldn’t really taste the vanilla it was very subtle, but I got a very pleasant taste of strawberry. It was still very tasty and Finlay agreed!
Both flavours were given the big thumbs up from our house. I will definatley be stocking up on these in the future to make sure I have a healthy after school snack handy at all times! Organix PUNK’D bars are available fro ASDA and Ocado with an RRP of £2. You can also visit Organix to find out more about the range and also their other tasty products.
