Easy Halloween Freakshake recipe

Today is Day 9 of Blogtober and the topic is ice cream. So today I am combining this post once again with my Blogoween Series! So,  Freakshakes have quickly become a huge craze lately. If you haven’t heard of them and are wondering what on earth I am going on about, here’s the lowdown. Freakshakes are mega milkshakes. Full of ice cream, chocolate, biscuits, cakes, cream. A mash up of a drink and dessert. Although horrendously naughty, they are somewhat awesome! So today I have created 3 Halloween themed Freakshakes just for you. We have Witches Brew, Frankenstein’s Monster and Zombie Brains!

Easy Halloween Freakshake Recipe witch's Brew

  • Milk
  • Ice cream
  • Purple food colouring
  • Squirty Cream
  • A jazzy biscuite bar
  • Jelly snakes
  • Orange and Green Midget Gems
  • Rice Malt Syrup
  • Green food Colouring
  • Orange and white straw

Method: Stir your Purple food colouring into your milk and set aside. Mix green food colouring into the rice malt syrup. Next spoon the syrup over the rim of the jar. Let it ooze down both inside and outside of the jar. Add some scoops of ice cream inside of your jar. Fill your jar with your purple milk. Fill the top of your milkshake with squirty cream, again don’t worry if it falls over the edge. Stick your Jazzy biscuit bar into the cream. Poke in your jelly snakes and Midget Gems. Pop in your straw and your witch’s Brew is complete!

  1. I have a confession to make – I love ice cream, I love milkshake, I love cake and biscuits….but I just don’t get why I would want to put them all in a glass together! They look awesome though 🙂 #Blogtober

    • Haha it is a bit extreme isn’t. I think being a sweetaholic doesn’t help. Don’t worry I do detox regularly and I try to keep my ‘problem’ under control haha!

    • Yes, but not too much, It slopped out of the green one and I didn’t think much of it, but it ended up quite bitter! I think next time though I might use ‘Crusha’ if I need a pink or Brown base!
